FAQ

Why did you leave your job? Really?
I left for a couple of reasons - 1. my boss was crazy. I'm not exaggerating. 2. I know this sounds trite and everyone says it, but I didn't make enough money to justify driving in, doing the work I had to do AND dealing with that level of crazy.

When you say 'crazy', how crazy are we talking?
Good question. When I say crazy, I mean screaming, yelling, door-slamming, hair-pulling (not mine, her own), job-threatening, drinking-in-her-office, using-staff-to-work-at-her-wedding-upon-threat-of-firing, calls-at-all-hours-of-the-day-and-night, ranting, raving crazy. That kind.

Good Lord! Where did you work?
Like I'm telling. I have a great deal of love for the place and people that are still there. One day, I may publish memoirs, but it won't be any time soon.

How is your family financially?
Nosy booger, aren't you? We're fine. We had to stop and look at how much money was going in and out, but, as long as I'm not buying designer shoes every other day, we shouldn't have anything to worry about. Luckily, Husband has been careful with our money for the last eighteen years or so.

What did your family think about the change?
Depends on which family you're asking about. If you mean the people who live in my house, it was their idea. I blame them. If you're asking about my parents, siblings, cousins, in-laws, etc, they're all fine with it. Evidently, the job I loved more than life itself was killing me physically and murdering my personality. I keep being told I'm a much happier person. BIZARRE AS FUCK!

How long have you been married?
Almost twenty years. No idea how that happened. People ask how to make a marriage last and my answer is always 'Don't get a divorce'.

How old is your child?
Old enough to be taller than me, but not so old that I won't bust her ass for mouthing off. Ask her. She'll tell you.
