I've only been gone for... um... wow. Almost two years.

Here's a quick rundown:

* no. I did not take the rescue job.

* I did, however, take a different one. As a matter of fact, I've taken 2 jobs since then.

* I'm still at the second one. I'm trying desperately to leave, though. There are stories. You will hear them all, I assure you.

I had lunch with some folks at the old job this week. I still have a lot of friends there, and it's nice to get out of the house every once in a while.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy having lunch with the parrots most days, but sometimes, I need to be with entities that not only reply to conversation, but are actually aware of what they're saying.

I am just lovely today.

I'm working on some swap projects and some other things. I think I may make one post for the week tomorrow so you can see that I'm not breaking my own rules, I'm just not talking about them like I'm supposed to.

This week, I've made:
two bookmarks
several inchie paintings
the start of a Ghibli feltie
and
patched up the cover to Charlie's cage!
